The cobia (Rachycentron canadum) is a carnivorous marine fish that can reach a maximum size of 6 feet (183 cm) and 150 pounds (68 kg). This fish is widespread from the Indo-Pacific to the Atlantic Ocean to the south. Cobia has a broad head, its body shape is almost like a shark and popular among sport anglers worldwide. Cobia fish known as ling, Lemonfish, crabeater and cabio.

Cobia known as food fish in China and Taiwan were also cultivated by the United States. Cobia are white, strong texture flesh and mild flavor. Cobia is a very versatile fish can be baked or eaten raw as sushi or sashimi. This fish contains high protein and rich of omega 3 which is very helpful for brain health and to build body tissues.
